Jared Galleria open in Boardman
BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - People looking to put a little bling under the tree this holiday have a new place to shop.
The Jared Galleria of Jewelry is now open on Market Street, in front of the Southern Park Mall.
The store represents a $1 million investment on the site of the former Family Christian Store.
According to the company website, the first Jared store opened in 1993. Jared claims that it offers five times the selection of ordinary jewelry stores.
Jared is a division of Sterling Jewelers, Inc., headquartered in Akron, Ohio. The website says that together with parent company Signet Jewelers, the are the largest specialty retail jeweler in the world.
Signet's Sterling division operates nearly 1,500 stores in all 50 states primarily under the name brands of Kay Jewelers and Jared.
Signet's Zale division operates over 1,600 locations in the US and Canada primarily under the name brands of Zales, Peoples, and Piercing Pagoda.
The Jared Galleria in Boardman is open from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon until 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
A grand opening is scheduled for this Saturday.
