It's believed the fire inside the Stone Tavern started when a frozen pipe leaked water onto an electrical junction box above a second floor bathroom.
Clean-up crews began work Thursday morning after power and heat were restored.
The owner says there was mainly water damage to the five businesses housed in the building and credits the minimum amount of damage to the quick response and efforts of local firefighters.
Crews from Poland and surrounding communities were called out to fight a fire at a two century old commercial building along South Main Street when an off-duty Austintown firefighter spotted flames coming from the two story building.
The historical building has most recently housed an antique store and other businesses.
