CANFIELD, Ohio -
Canfield police want drivers to be aware that a signal light replacement project will once again impact traffic at the intersection of U.S. 224 and State Route 46 on Thursday.
Crews are in the process of replacing traffic lights on the square. As a result, police say the traffic signals will not be in operation between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Turning lanes will be shut down during the construction and temporary stop signs will be in place.
In addition, two police officers will be at the square directing traffic.
Traffic counts provided by the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments indicate that more than 13,000 vehicles travel through the intersection on Route 224 daily.
