LISBON, Ohio - Authorities serving warrants in Columbiana County have turned up what they believe is a lab used to make THC, a concentrated form of the chemical in marijuana that makes users high.

The Columbiana County Sheriff's office and Lisbon Police were in the process of arresting Charles Green,28, and Amanda Davis,23, in connection with a prior investigation at 528 North Jefferson Street on Wednesday when officers say they spotted drug paraphernalia and marijuana in plain sight.

Agents from the county drug task force were called in, and they found several items that are commonly used in a tetrahydrocannabinol extraction lab.

Investigators say they obtained a search warrant and seized chemicals, glassware and suspected synthetic drugs.
