Howland Police investigate overnight car thefts
HOWLAND TWP., Ohio - Howland Township Police admit the surveillance footage is grainy, but are asking for the community's help in identifying theft suspects.
Officers are looking for four suspects who allegedly stole property out of three unlocked vehicles between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The overnight thefts occurred in the northeast section of Howland Township on Brittainy Oaks Trail, Altura Drive, and Celestial Drive.
All of the cars were parked in their driveways.
Police say stolen items include cash, credit cards, a phone charger, and a pair of sunglasses. Additionally, the roof of one car was reported damaged.
Four male juveniles were seen in the area overnight. Police say they may be the suspects.
Police obtained surveillance footage of one of the suspects.
