BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - Boardman police are investigating a break-in and theft at a Market Street jewelry store.

Police say an unknown man removed a door lock and forcibly entered Tele Gold in Boardman around 10:00 Saturday night.  He then stole several pieces before fleeing the store.

Items stolen include three Bulova sterling watches, one sterling silver 18 karat David Yurman bracelet, one pink tourmaline diamond ring, one Pave diamond shell shaped pendant, one Tiffany heart shaped sterling ring, and one 18 karat gold cross.  The total value of the stolen jewelry is $7,700.

The suspect has not yet been identified, but police have video of him from the store's surveillance cameras.

Police describe him as a skinny male with a thin, light beard.  He was wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap with a white logo at the time of the incident.

Store employees also say they did not notice anything unusual during the day.
