YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Stambaugh Auditorium formally recognized the complete renovation of their grand ballroom Wednesday night.

The renovation project started in July 2013.

Renovations included a new entryway and the installment of an ADA approved ramp.

They also put in new carpet, lighting, a stage, a level dance floor, and renovated kitchen.

"We didn't only change the asthetics of Stambaugh Auditorium, we also made the space more functional. It's much more functional for events, for caterers, for different fundraisers, and also for a wedding space. Which, Stambuagh Auditorium has many weddings throughout the year,” said Jeannine Donatelli, Director of Donor Relations.

The event allowed for guests to see the renovations, and Jim Tressel was the guest speaker who spoke on his favorite memories at Stambaugh Auditorium.
