WARREN, Ohio - A Warren councilwoman hopes the city's police department will implement body cameras in 2016.  Councilwoman at-large Helen Rucker says she will urge Warren's police chief to adopt the cameras.  While she recognizes there is a cost associated with them, she says cities, with less money, have invested in cameras for their police departments.

"We don't want people making accusations about our department.  We want our police officers to feel safe and comfortable while they are out there on the street and we want our citizens to be confident when that justice department leaves Warren, that they are confident that Warren is on the right track ," said council woman at-large Helen Rucker.
