YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - State Troopers say they will charge a Sharon, Pennsylvania man accused of leading four police agencies from two states on a chase that ended with a crash and foot pursuit in Youngstown.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says it will charge 22-year-old James Bert White with fleeing and eluding, drug possession and drug parapharnalia.

Investigators say Farrell police began chasing White's Pontiac G-6 early Wednesday morning.

Sharon Police picked up the pursuit, following the car to the state line, where Hubbard Police gave chase.

State Troopers joined attempts to stop the car along Interstate 80, and followed it as it approached I-680 in Youngstown.

That's when White's car struck a utility pole, shearing it off.

Even though the car flipped over, White jumped out and began to run.

After a foot chase authorities caught up with White, who was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.
