Warren Kmart store closing in April
Kmart announced on Friday that the store on Parkman Road NW in Warren will close in late April.

WARREN, Ohio - Kmart announced on Friday that the store on Parkman Road NW in Warren will close in late April.
The announcement follows the retail chain's decision to shut down the Boardman store as well.
According to a statement from Howard Riefs, Director, Corporate Communications, the Warren store will begin its liquidation sale on February 4.
The store has 63 employees.
Earlier this month, Kmart told the 81 employees of the store on Boardman Poland Road that it will shut down in mid-April as part of a plan to reduce expenses and make changes to the company business model.
The Boardman store will begin a liquidation sale on Sunday.
Kmart first announced plans to close the Warren store in August of last year, but then reversed the decision after company officials say they renegotiated the lease with the landlord of the property.
Just nine days ago, Riefs told 21 News that Kmart planned to keep the Warren and Austintown Kmart stores open.
On Friday, Riefs sent an email saying the Austintown store will remain open.
