COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio drivers are still seeing gas pump prices below $2 despite a slight increase over the past week in the average price for a gallon of regular fuel.

The state average reported in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. was $1.64. That's about 8 cents higher than a week ago, but well below the $2.05 price reported a year ago in Ohio.

The state's average price also remained below the national average of $1.80 reported Monday. The survey reports the national average price of a regular gallon of gas that time last year was $2.06.

Gas prices could head even lower as a result of the reduced seasonal demand and falling crude oil costs.
