Salem police place St. Paul School on lockdown during arrest
St. Paul Elementary School in Salem was placed under lockdown Tuesday morning while an arrest was being made in the church.

SALEM, Ohio - St. Paul Elementary School in Salem was placed under lockdown Tuesday morning while an arrest was being made in the church.
Salem police say they found 53-year-old William Brooks at St. Paul Church shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Brooks is wanted in East Liverpool for failing to appear in court on an unspecified charge.
Police say no one was permitted to enter of leave the school when the school was locked down as a safety precaution during the arrest.
Brooks has been taken to the Columbiana County jail.
