CLEVELAND, Ohio - An eight month long manhunt is over for a suspect wanted for the drive-by shooting death of a three-year-old Cleveland boy.

U.S. Marshals say that Donnell Lindsey, 23, was apprehended in Smyrna, Georgia early Tuesday.

Lindsey has been the subject of a search since September last year, when 3-year-old Major Howard was fatally shot in the chest on the East Side of Cleveland as he sat in a parked car.

Marshals say Lindsey was located using information developed by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Interviews were conducted all over the city of Cleveland and several states.

Most recently, it was learned that Lindsey had fled the Cleveland area.
