Sharon police have identified a body found in a residential neighborhood early Sunday morning.
29-year-old Troy Scott Hall was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the head on Prindle Street, about half a mile away from his Fifth Avenue home.
Sharon Police Chief Gerry Smith says his officers were able to ID Hall because he previously made a police report as a victim.
Now, the department is piecing together his last known whereabouts to find the person who killed him.
They've interviewed nearly 50 different people since they launched the homicide investigation.
"We want to know everything he did yesterday and who would have done something terrible like this to a man who basically has no criminal history," said chief Smith.
One family member described Hall as the nicest person he'd ever met.
Hall's autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday morning.
