JACKSON CENTER, Pennsylvania - A Mercer County couple is facing over 500 combined charged for a series of incidents involving a teenager back starting in 2001.

Fifty-eight year old Michael Hamelly and fifty-four year old Charyn Hamelly, both of Jackson Center, are charged in connection to inappropriate contact with a teen.

Michael Hamelly is charged with 312 counts including 104 counts of endangering a welfare of a child, 103 counts of corruption of minors, and 105 counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.

The incidents, according to the criminal complaint, occurred over a two-year period when the victim was between 14 and 15 years of age.

The complaint also says that the male suspect admitted the crimes to the victim's husband last Sunday.

Charyn Hamelly is also facing 208 criminal charges in connection with the same incidents.

She is charged with 104 counts of endangering a welfare of a child, and 104 counts of corruption of minors.

Prosecutors say Charyn Hamelly's charges stem from her failure to report the abuse of the child.

Both suspects will be in Magisterial District Court for preliminary hearings on July 27th.
