It's more than just bowling that drew thousands of people to the Skylane Bowling Center in Garrettsville.

After 45 weeks, the drawing for the jackpot in a Queen of Hearts game was more than half a million dollars and it is only going to continue to grow after no one picked the queen of hearts Sunday night.

The card that was picked was the four of spades.

Owner Aaron King says people are coming to the drawing from across the state and even Canada. He says thousands showed up to the drawing last night, doubling the total population of Garrettsville.

The next drawing will be Sunday, August 7 at 6 p.m. Tickets will be on sale until 5:30 p.m. that day.

The rules say you do not have to be present to win, but you only get 50% of the jackpot.

If you are present you get 90%. The other 10% is carried over to start a new game.

The bowling alley also holds a 50/50 drawing on every Sunday during the game.

So far they have raised more than $65,000 for local charities.

The Skylane Bowling Center is located on Route 82 in Garrettsville. About a 40 minute drive from Youngstown.
