SHARON, Pa. - Sharon police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting late Sunday night.

The victim, Percy Godfrey, 46, of Malleable Street in Sharon was killed by gunfire.

Kimberly Odom, who also lives at Godfrey's address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and her condition is not known at this time.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Officers were called to the 700 block of New Castle Avenue in Sharon around 11:30 p.m. Sunday after reports that a woman had been shot.

When police arrived on scene, they discovered the two victims.

Sharon police chief Gerald Smith says his officers are in the process of getting a warrant for murder and attempted murder for the unidentified suspect.

Police are still interviewing potential witnesses and are in the process of trying to determine a motive and hope to make an arrest soon.

An autopsy on Godfrey will be conducted in Erie,

Sharon police and the Pennsylvania State Police will release more information as it becomes available.
