NILES, Ohio - The investigation continues into a Niles home invasion where a 74-year-old woman died last week.

Although Niles police tell us they are treating the case as a homicide, detectives are still conducting interviews in connection with the death of Arlene Frasca.

Her husband, Angelo Frasca told police that two armed men barged their way into the couple's Hiram Street home Thursday night.

Niles police have already said they don't believe the crime was a random act of violence.

Sources tell 21 News that investigators believe the intruders were looking for a safe inside the Frasca's home.

The Trumbull County coroner has not revealed the cause of Arlene Frasca's death.
