AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - For a second day in a row, Austintown police have made an arrest as they crackdown on alleged prostitution being advertised through online classified services.

Tashayla Glenn, 22, of Youngstown was booked into the Mahoning County Jail after an undercover officer arrested her on Wednesday.

In addition to being charged with soliciting, Glenn faces one count of possessing criminal tools because she allegedly used a phone to set up her “date” with the officer.

According to a police report, the officer sent a text message to a number posted in the Backpage.com escort section offering a “limited time special” from someone who was “trucker friendly”.

The ad also contained a line, “no creeps”.

Police spoke with a woman who agreed to a “car date” for $60.

The officer says when Glenn hopped into his unmarked car in a hotel parking lot on Route 46, she was immediately arrested.

Police say Glenn admitted to meeting three people each day. A search of online records indicated that her phone number has appeared in Backpage ads for about a year.
