Lawrence County woman struck and killed on Route 422
The investigation continues now that State Police in Lawrence County have identified the victim of a fatal pedestrian accident. Troopers say Robyn M. Pennachio, 52, of Edinburg, Pa. was struck and killed by a Jeep along Route 422 in Mahoning Township shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say the woman was walking along the eastbound lane just east of Edinburg Road when she was struck. The two 20-year-old New Castle women in the Jeep were not injured. .
