Sharon murder trial begins Monday

A Sharon man is scheduled to go on trial Monday for the murder of a Farrell man in Sharon more than two years ago.

MERCER, Pa. - A Sharon man is scheduled to go on trial Monday for the murder of a Farrell man in Sharon more than two years ago.

Michael Bagnall is accused of gunning down 23-year-old Jaylen West during a February 28, 2015, party on Quinby Street.

Bagnall, who was out of jail on parole at the time of the shooting, is charged with first and third-degree murder, aggravated assault and a firearm violation.

The trial is set to begin at 9:30 am in the court of Mercer County Common Pleas Judge Daniel Wallace.
