LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Police are investigating the report of a man's desperate search for a drug at the Liberty Walmart pharmacy.
It wasn't narcotics that the customer wanted, but Viagra.
The pharmacist tells police that the man came into the store Friday morning with a prescription for the erectile dysfunction medication.
The man left after being told that the prescription was written in 2015 and had expired.
He came back to the pharmacy a couple hours later and asked where the Viagra was.
The cashier told him that it was behind the counter, but was only available by prescription.
According to the police report, the man walked behind the service counter and into the pharmacist's work area where he began rummaging through items, apparently looking for Viagra.
After repeatedly ignoring requests that he leave the area, the cashier called the store security officer, who also told him to get out of the pharmacy.
The security officer tells police that the man finally left the store and went outside, but not before taking a baseball bat out of the trunk of his car and placing it on the passenger seat.
Police are reviewing surveillance video as they continue their investigation.
