AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - A Warren man is behind bars after police said he robbed an Austintown liquor store at gunpoint, officers using Facebook to find him.
Nineteen-year-old Kahmaree Bush is charged with aggravated robbery for stealing cash out of the register.
The incident happened at Raccoon Road Beer & Wine on Raccoon Road Thursday night around 8:30 pm.
Police said they received a call from an employee at the store who was hysterical and told them she was just robbed at gunpoint.
The victim said Bush had a gun pointed to her back behind her while she emptied the bottom drawer of the cash register.
Bush allegedly stole all the ones, fives, tens, twenties and one fifty dollar bill.
The victim told police Bush stuffed all the money in his hoodie and left.
She said Bush possibly looked like a customer that came in a lot who drives a Silver Chevy Cobalt, according to a police report.
When the owner of the store came to the scene, he was able to check the surveillance video, which showed the altercation with Bush.
The owner told police he had seen Bush before in the store and said he was in the store that morning complaining about being robbed.
Police took several photos of Bush and the small black semi-automatic handgun he had with him.
After making a perimeter to search for Bush, police found two five dollar bills on the ground, following them until they saw two more bills in the parking lot of Charly's restaurant.
Police said the Cobalt belonged Bush's girlfriend, so they began to check social media outlets including Facebook to look for more clues.
After searching her Facebook page, officers found the girlfriend having several conversations with two men named "Tyler Jo" and "The Tyler Josephs."
The two accounts appeared to be the same person, according to the police report.
The Facebook pictures were taken to the victim and the owner of Raccoon Road Beer & Wine, who both said the "Tylers" were actually Bush.
About two hours later, police found Bush near a swimming pool on Deer Creek Court where his girlfriend lives and the man identified himself as Tyler Christopher Joseph, according to the police report.
Police said they asked Bush two more times before he gave his real name.
Bush was searched and police found $1,000 on him in his shorts pocket.
Bush is expected in court for a preliminary hearing at the end of the month.
