An investigation is underway into a three-alarm fire that broke out at a metal foundry in Hubbard early Wednesday.
Firefighters from several departments joined those from the Eagle Joint Fire District just before 7 a.m. after smoke filed the shop area of Ellwood Engineered Castings on Hubbard-Masury Road.
A third alarm was called in when firefighters on the scene needed to bring in more water to battle the fire.
Crews from Liberty, Hubbard, Brookfield and the Youngstown Air Base responded to the call.
Liberty Fire Captain Cathy Macchione tells 21 News that the large response was needed because of the size of the building and the need to relieve firefighters working in Wednesday's hot weather conditions.
Investigators have not said what caused the fire, or what was burning.
No one was injured.
