Oscar the singing dog fails to advance on AGT

NILES, Ohio - Last week, a local pooch captured the hearts of people from all over America as he sang his way past the audition phase of NBC's "America's Got Talent."
It's not over until the fat lady sings. Or in this case, the golden retriever.
Oscar gave it his all, but it wasn't enough to advance to the next round on Tuesday night's show.
Mel B quickly gave him the buzzer.
Then at the end of the show, Pam was told she wasn't going on to the live shows.
We caught up with Pam Baker and Oscar at Buffalo Wild Wings in Niles where they had a viewing party for this episode of "America's Got Talent."
Pam says she had a month between the audition show and tonight's show to practice the new song "The Prayer."
"I had been playing piano and taking lessons and he never sang but the second I started playing "The Prayer" he started singing. He prefers that song, he loves that song. That is, by far, his favorite song," said Baker.
So what's next for singing Oscar?
Baker said, "We have a lot of followers on social media so we are going to continue with that. It's hard to say where we are going to go from here. We are going to continue with his journey of singing and making America happy."
She calls the whole thing an amazing journey.
"It's tiring. It's a lot of filming for a lot of hours. We were very happy we made it to the middle rounds and happy we got to experience the whole journey of "America's Got Talent." It was a little disappointing, but I'm happy with the way everything turned out. Very happy!"
Pam says Simon Cowell was a big fan of Oscar and he told her to try again next season. She says she will.
