ODOT to hold public meeting at Howland High School
The Ohio Department of Transportation will be holding an Open House Public Involvement Meeting on Wednesday, September 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Howland High School Cafeteria, 200 Shaffer Drive N.E., Warren, OH.

HOWLAND TWP., Ohio - The Ohio Department of Transportation will be holding an Open House Public Involvement Meeting on Wednesday, September 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Howland High School Cafeteria, 200 Shaffer Drive N.E., Warren, OH.
According to a press release, the meeting is being held in order to deliver information and hear public reaction on the results and suggested improvements included in the TRU-46-7.28. Safety Study.
The press release states that the study looked into and evaluated different location in Howland Township.
The following locations were analyzed: the interchange of SR 46 and SR 82, the signalized intersection of SR 82 and Howland-Wilson Road, the signalized intersection of SR 46 and County Road (CR) 329 (Warren-Sharon Road), the unsignalized intersection of SR 46 and Howland Springs Road and the section of SR 46 between the SR 46/SR 82 interchange and the intersection of SR 46 and CR 329.
The meeting will be held in an open house style, and it is said that the project team will be there to answer questions from those in attendance.
There will also be a project overview presentation beginning around 5:45 p.m.
After the presentation, people will have a chance to speak throughout an open microphone public comment time.
Throughout the public meeting, the safety study and exhibits illustrating the recommended improvement alternatives under consideration will be displayed and representatives of ODOT, including the safety study consultant, Mott MacDonald, will be available to address questions.
If you are unable to attend the public meeting, information from the safety study including the recommended improvement alternatives will be available on the ODOT District 4 website at www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/d04 (select the "Public Meetings/Public Involvement" heading on the left side menu).
The final date for submission of comments is October 5, 2018. A summary of comments received and responses to comments will be prepared and posted to the ODOT District 4 website within 30 days of the end of the comment period.
