Yo-Yo Ma: What you need to know to go
If you want to hear world renown cellist Yo-Yo Ma perform with members of the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra tonight, you won't need to wear a black tie, but you might want to get there early for a good seat.

WARREN, Ohio - If you want to hear world renown cellist Yo-Yo Ma perform with members of the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra tonight, you won't need to wear a black tie, but you might want to get there early for a good seat.
Below you will find what you need to know to attend the free performance as well as a list of day-long activities in Quinby Park leading up to the concert
Admission is free to the concert, which begins at 5:30 p.m. It's general admission, so there are no reserved seats. Doors at Warren's Amphitheatre open at 5 p.m.
And just like the River Rock shows put on by Sunrise Entertainment, which is helping present Yo-Yo Ma, this will be a casual event with food trucks and beer sales.
The 45-minute concert will begin at 6 p.m., with an opening musical act at 5:30.
The concert will be followed by a panel discussion, “How Can the Arts – and All of Our Culture – Serve Our Community,” 7 to 8 p.m., moderated by Deborah F. Rutter, president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
Panelists will include: Barb Ewing, CEO, Youngstown Business Incubator, Yo-Yo Ma, cellist, Rev. Lewis Macklin II, pastor of Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, William Mullane, an educator who is on the board of directors of the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County, Power of the Arts, Trumbull Art Gallery and the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra
Yo-Yo Ma, whose discography of over 100 albums includes 19 Grammy Award winners, creates programs that act as a model for the cultural collaboration. Ma is setting out to perform Johann Sebastian Bach's six suites for solo cello in one sitting in 36 locations around the world.
RULES AND PARKING
No one is permitted to set up chairs until 5 pm. This includes sponsors, fans, and guests of the bands. This is a security precaution and is meant to further ensure the safety of all. Any chairs set up early will be removed and returned to the owners after 5 pm. As of 2018, chair bags are no longer be permitted inside the gates. Chairs are permitted.
The following items are not permitted inside the fences: chair bags, backpacks, duffel bags, tote bags, oversized purses, coolers, etc. In addition, carry-in of food or beverages are not permitted.
These items are permitted inside the fences: Diaper bags, medical bags, and lawn chairs. We reserve the right to inspect all items.
Free parking for the Warren Community Amphitheatre is available within walking distance to the Amp in public parking lots, the Franklin Street Parking Deck and on-street. Handicapped parking is available on site.

The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County will host live performances from Monument of Faith Angels, Olivia Dunn, T.C.I.M.A. Community Choir and Men with Skills.
The Trumbull County Historical Society will be on hand to collect oral histories from those with memories of Quinby Park.
TNP will announce the award of $40,000 in funding from the William Swanston Charitable Foundation for play infrastructure improvements. The award is in partnership with TNP, Community of Concerned Citizens II, Warren City, and the Trumbull County Combined Health District's Creating Healthy Communities program.
TNP will unveil two new public art sculpture installations by Tony Armeni, with funding provided by the Ohio Arts Council.
Attendees will have the opportunity to create art, enter raffle drawings and participate in other activities.
