Two woman must pay East Liverpool for 'foamy fountain' prank
Two women have been ordered to make restitution to the City of East Liverpool for pouring detergent into a downtown fountain, turning it into a foamy display.

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - Two women have been ordered to make restitution to the city of East Liverpool for pouring detergent into a downtown fountain, turning it into a foamy display.
Forty-four-year-old Shenallia Gay of East Liverpool and 38-year-old Amanda Anderson of Zanesville appeared in East Liverpool Municipal Court on Wednesday where they pleaded guilty improperly tampering with property.
They were arrested after two women were seen on surveillance video next to the fountain at the city's Diamond late Monday night just moments before the fountain turned into a foamy mess, with suds overflowing the walls.
Police arrested Gay and Anderson turned herself in later,
City workers had to drain the fountain to prevent damage to the pump. The fountain has since been re-filled.
Each of the women was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $150 and ordered make restitution to the city in the amount of $1,154.
