YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Getting onto Interstate 680 southbound in Youngstown this weekend will be a problem for drivers this weekend.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing or restricting five on-ramps in the city beginning at 6 p.m. Tonight through 6 a.m. Monday for construction work.
The following ramp closures and lane restriction will be in place:
I-680 southbound will be reduced to one lane between State Route 193 and Market St.
The ramp from Mahoning Ave. to I-680 southbound will be closed. The detour will be 5th Ave to US 422 East to US 62 West.
The ramp from High St. to I-680 southbound will be closed. The detour will be Edwards St to Mahoning Ave to 5th Ave to US 422 East to US 62 West
The ramp from Oakwood St. to I-680 southbound will be closed. The detour will be Steel St to Mahoning Ave to 5th Ave to US 422 East to US 62 West
The ramp from Sillman St. to I-680 southbound will be closed. The detour will be Steel St to Mahoning Ave to 5th Ave to US 422 East to US 62 West.
