Canfield Fair attendance breaks last year's numbers
Attendance at the 2018 Canfield Fair far surpassed attendance last year.

CANFIELD, Ohio - Attendance at the 2018 Canfield Fair far surpassed attendance last year.
Fair officials say there were 11,225 more people at the fair this year than last year. Officials couldn't give an exact reason for the increase but say rain did play a factor in 2017's attendance record.
Here is a breakdown of the attendance compared to last year's numbers Wednesday through Sunday.

The grand total of people that attended the fair this year is 295,781.
Fair officials say last years final number was 284,556.
The grandstand was packed with Toby Keith fans on Monday night and Matthew West fans on Sunday night. The concerts may have played a role in attendance.
