NILES, Ohio - The Niles GetGo Cafe and Market grand opening takes place Wednesday.
It will kick off at 3:30 pm at the new location, 1330 Youngstown-Warren Road, with a ceremonial sub-cutting with members from the Giant Eagle Corporation and Mayor Steve Mientkiewicz.
There will also be a sub-making contest featuring the Niles McKinley High School boys and girls soccer teams.
For each sub purchased at the new location from Sept. 12-16, $1 will be donated to local charity, the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown.
GetGo will present the check for proceeds raised to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Youngstown the following week.
The 24-hour market offers a wide-ranging menu of made-fresh to-order foods, including custom-made subs, burgers, breakfast sandwiches and more.
Also available is a Smoothie and Espresso Bar, including lattes, mochas, iced coffees and espresso beverages.
Using the Giant Eagle app, customers can conveniently skip the line by utilizing the mobile ordering system.
