A Poland man learned the hard way, what you say can get you in trouble.

POLAND TWP., Ohio - A Poland man learned the hard way, what you say can get you in trouble.
Scott Volovar, 41, is charged with ethnic intimidation after allegedly using racial slurs and harassing his neighbor on Center Road on September 13.
Officers found Volovar sitting in his car in his driveway, who appeared drunk and smelled of alcohol, according to the police report.
Police said he told them he was sitting in his car making a phone call to Australia.
It turns out the victim told police there has been ongoing issues with Volovar, who is his upstairs neighbor, who he said has been racially harassing him and his family and stomping on the floors.
Volovar allegedly stood outside the victim's door at 10 p.m. that night and played scenes from the "Roots" that involved racial slurs.
The victim then recorded Volovar and officers were able to identify Volovar's voice saying, "The Ku Klux Klan has risen," according to the police report.
Other voices can be heard on the recording referring to the victim as "Toby," a character from "Roots."
Volovar then attempted to get the victim to go outside and fight him, saying he was going to "load up" his glock handguns, according to police.
A warrant was issued for Volovar and he was arrested without incident.
According to his court docket, Volovar is not allowed to live at his apartment until his next court date.
He's expected in court for a preliminary hearing later this month. An eviction hearing is scheduled for October.
