Ohio BMV systems back up and running
Waiting in line at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles is a familiar 'past-time' for Ohio drivers. However, due to technology issues, drivers visiting the BMV may have to wait even longer.

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has announced via Twitter that their systems are back up and running after they experienced tech issues that caused slower transaction times.
According to a BMV spokesperson, all locations across the state were experiencing the difficulties.
The problems reportedly began last week after the Ohio BMV switched operating systems for the department's computers.
The BMV said all locations were still up and running, but were experiencing "printing issues", which were causing difficulties printing drivers' temporary license documents.
Earlier this summer, the state BMV switched from printing licenses on location to having licenses mailed directly to customers.
Under the new guidelines, drivers have printed paper "temporary documentation" until their physical licenses arrive in the mail.
A statement from the BMV says their IT Department has recently solved the issue.
