Driver charged with OVI after crash in Leavittsburg
A driver was taken into custody by the Ohio State Highway Patrol early Sunday morning for OVI after a single vehicle crash in Trumbull County.
LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio - A driver was taken into custody by the Ohio State Highway Patrol early Sunday morning for OVI after a single vehicle crash in Trumbull County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News that Ronald Evans, 62, of Leavittsburg crashed his car just after 5 am on West Market Street near Park Road in Leavittsburg.
Evans suffered minor injuries and was checked out by EMS on the scene. He was taken into custody charged with OVI and later released.
The crash brought a utility pole and wires down. Ohio Edison was called to the scene to repair the pole and the road is back open.
