SALEM, Ohio - Severe storm damage Tuesday evening tore through parts of the Valley.
However, in Salem, winds were so strong it knocked over a large tree into Daniel Means' yard on the 1500 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
Means told 21 News he's trapped in his driveway, unable to move the tree and get his car out.
"I was sitting at the dining room table eating supper at about 6:15 pm when the wind whipped up and threw the neighbor's tree on the house and blocked the driveway," said Means. "I am unable to get to work now because of the tree."
The tree was almost completely uprooted from the ground, and Means said his neighbor is going to take care of it Wednesday.
He said as, for the home, minimum damage was done with maybe a few shingles and a lamp post damaged.
