Charges have officially been filed against Anthony "Mook" Cooper in connection with a triple homicide in New Castle.

Nineteen-year-old Cooper was identified in an affidavit used to charge 19-year-old Steven Procopio, who claims that Cooper fired the shots that killed ten-year-old Amariah Emery, her 31-year-old mother Nichole Pumphrey and 31-year-old Lawrence Cannon.

Late Friday afternoon charges were filed in a Lawrence County Court.

Cooper is charged with three counts of criminal homicide, three counts of conspiracy to commit homicide, one charge of attempted homicide, and one count of carrying firearms without a license.

Cooper is described as a black male, 5'5 tall, approximately 135 lbs, 19 years old possibly residing in the Detroit, Michigan area.

Police say Cooper is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous.

The three victims were found shot to death in Pumphrey's West North Street home early Tuesday.

Police have said that they don't believe Procopio's contention that Cooper was the gunman.

Jody Lynn Hammer, 41, is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on $50,000 bond after being arraigned on a charge of obstructing justice.

She was taken into custody Wednesday at the Pulaski Township home she shared with Procopio, who is charged with three counts of criminal homicide and three counts of conspiracy.

According to a criminal complaint, police interviewed all three suspects following the murders but released them after they denied any knowledge of the crime.

After receiving new information implicating Procopio, Hammer, and Cooper, police say they learned that Hammer knew that one of the men had hidden a gun in the home.

Procopio and Hammer also told detectives that they drove Cooper to a Greyhound bus station in Cleveland where they say he intended to ride a bus to Detroit.

The next court hearings for Hammer and Procopio are scheduled for November 1.

Cooper is still at-large.
