Coroner identifies man, woman found shot to death in Youngstown home
Less than a day after a murder on Youngstown's West Side, detectives are now investigating what police say is a double homicide on the South Side.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Less than a day after a murder on Youngstown's West Side, detectives are now investigating what police say is a double homicide on the South Side.
Two ambulances were called to the dead end of Summer Street just after 6 am Friday where two people had been shot shortly after 6 a.m.
The Mahoning County Coroner says 67-year-old Hallie North and 40-year-old Jamell North were found dead inside the home.
Records show that the same address was the scene of another fatal shooting this past March.
In that incident, 38-year old Darmetrus North died from multiple gunshots. There is no record of any arrests in that case.
Youngstown Police Chief Robin Lees says the victims in Friday's shooting have been identified as the mother and brother of that victim.
Detectives have reportedly conducted interviews in connection with today's shooting but no arrests have yet been made.
The double killing would raise to sixteen the number of homicides this year in Youngstown. The city recorded twenty-six homicides in 2017.
Officials say an autopsy will be completed by the Mahoning County Coroner.
