WARREN TWP., Ohio - A car struck a man who was taking out his garbage Sunday night in Warren. 

The incident happened just before 8 p.m. on Parkwood Drive Northwest.

Initial reports from Trumbull Dispatch say the man was taking out the garbage when he was hit.

They say the man was conscious with a head wound. 

The man was transported to the hospital.

There is no word on his condition.

The driver did stay on the scene but it's unclear if they will face any charges.
