A Sebring man is in the Mahoning County Jail on a $20,500 bond after allegedly threatening his neighbors and yelling racial slurs at them.

Twenty-four-year-old Koty Claypool is charged four counts of ethnic intimidation, one count of aggravated menacing, and one charge of inducing panic.

Police say they were called out twice in a matter of hours for reports the Claypool was threatening people in the apartment complex on South 13th Street where he lives.

According to a report, a woman called police around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday saying that Claypool was outside yelling at the neighbors and that she wanted cops to tell them to go inside "before she does something about it".

Police say the woman told them that she had a baseball bat and "wasn't afraid to use it on them".

A report says officers arrived at the apartment complex and began speaking with the group of people outside, who said that Claypool had threatened to kill them and called them racial slurs.

One victim told officers that Claypool had threatened to slash his tires, set his truck on fire, and kick his head in over complaints that the victim's vehicle was too loud.

In addition, a report says that another victim told officers that Claypool told them his father was part of the KKK and would "kill them both and slash their tires and smash up their car."

Police say they took the information, contacted the Prosecutor about potentially filing charges, and then left the scene.

However, just two hours later police were dispatched back out to the same complex- this time being told that Claypool had a gun.

A report alleges that several people told officers that Claypool "came peeling into the parking lot", jumped out of his vehicle while yelling "I'm going to shoot you", using racial slurs, and pointing a gun at witnesses.

According to police, another witness told them that Claypool had also pushed a pregnant woman, causing her to land on her stomach.

Officer say they got a search warrant to search Claypool's apartment, but couldn't because of the "amount of clutter".

Claypool was arrested and taken to the Mahoning County Jail where he remains. He is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
