WARREN, Ohio - A nude photo sent by a 14-year-old Warren girl to a former boyfriend is coming back to haunt her.

The girl's mother told Warren Police that her daughter is being harassed on social media by the teen's former friend, who is also a 14-year-old girl.

The mom told officers that the two teens used to be friends. The mother said when the friendship ended, the other teen became irate and began sending threatening messages.

According to the police report, the former friend came in possession of nude profile picture that the daughter had given to her former boyfriend and is now sending the picture to several people through Facebook Messenger Group Chat.

In Ohio, it is illegal to take or send sexually explicit images of minors, even if the person who takes or sends the picture is a teenager himself, or herself.

Officers told the victim's mother to contact detectives about the situation.
