Thousands of people make visiting Kraynak's a yearly tradition
For thousands of shoppers, Santa's Christmas Land keeps them standing in line and coming back to Kraynak's even once they move away.

HERMITAGE, Pa. - For thousands of shoppers, Santa's Christmas Land keeps them standing in line and coming back to Kraynak's even once they move away.
The uniqueness of the toys, gifts and displays of trees keep people coming back year after year.
Sunny Arfa from Florida said, "We are enjoying all the beautiful Christmas tree displays. I love the Grinch, very cool, and I'm here with my dad. We used to come here when I was a little girl. I grew up in Zelienople. I brought my children here Angelique and Drew here.
Angelique added, "The displays are so pretty! I wish we could decorate our trees like these.
Santa's Christmas Land at Kraynak's is not only memorable for kids but also adults.
People pointed fingers at beautifully decorated trees, or at moving bears and more.
One baby boy was interested in baby Jesus, which is in Mary's arms in the last display of the nine rooms.
Quincy McCombs was enjoying Christmas Land for the first time with his girlfriend and her son Patrick. McCombs said, "This is very unique. This is something I've never experienced before. It's beautiful."
Assistant store manager Travis McClain said, "At Santa's Christmas Land there are nine rooms with over 70 trees that are uniquely decorated. We start preparing for the displays beginning in July in order to be ready to open September 10th. There is quite a lot of planning and work that goes into this all. After Christmas is over people can buy the trees and ornaments. Kraynak's grows all of its own poinsettias. People looking for last minute gifts can find so much here, stuffed animals, toys, children's purses, stuffed animal puppets, toy cars and trucks, educational toys, legos, decorative items for the home, gifts to make a sports fan happy, and model train sets. There are just too many items to mention but we do have plenty of unique gifts for both children and adults."
Michael Gargiell who lives about an hour away was shopping with his family.
Gargiell said, "I like all of the football things and all of the toys. There is so much here. We go here every Christmas and if we are here in the area we pretty much just go."
Store hours at Kraynak's in Hermitage on Christmas Eve are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
