A children's clothing retailer is asking a bankruptcy judge to approve the closure of 900 stores, including four here in the Valley.

A children's clothing retailer is asking a bankruptcy judge to approve the closure of 900 stores, including four here in the Valley.
The Chapter 11 filing by Gymboree includes plans to run going-out-of-business sales for the stores, including a Gymboree in the Eastwood Mall and a Crazy 8 in the Southern Park Mall.
The company also operates Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores at Grove City Premium Outlets in Mercer County.
No dates have been set for store sales and closures.
The company lists liabilities of between $50 million and $100 million, with assets of between $100 million and $500 million.
