Frigid air will take the place of Saturday's and this morning's snow.

Look for lingering flurries and gusty winds today with highs near 15. 

Lake Effect Snow showers will kick in later in the day in northern Trumbull and Mercer counties where another 2-4" could fall. 

Wind chills will be around -5 this afternoon.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with a flurry or two possible. The high will be in the low teens but wind chills will remain below zero overnight into Tuesday morning.


Mostly cloudy Tuesday with highs in the low 30s.

Rain Wednesday before changing from rain to snow overnight with highs in the low 40s.

There will be light snow showers around Thursday morning with mostly cloudy skies, high near 30.

Mostly cloudy with flurries on Friday with highs in the low 20s.

Mostly sunny but bitterly cold Saturday with highs in the low teens.

That frigid blast will be part a prolonged period of cold air parking itself over the eastern US through the end of this month and likely into February.
