A Youngstown Board of Education member announced that he's running for president in 2020.

In Pittsburgh Monday, Dario Hunter announced his candidacy for the Green Party's nomination.

Hunter says his goal is to "make America fair for once and for all."

In a release, Hunter included the following issues he'd like to tackle: "living wage jobs for all, Medicare for all, cutting military spending, investing instead in education and infrastructure, ending America's wars and interventions overseas, protecting workers' rights, transitioning to 100% renewable energy nationwide and fighting discrimination, including educational and environmental racism."

His appearance Monday was part of his nationwide tour called the Building Bridges Tour.

Hunter is also a rabbi in Youngstown.
