The driver of a tractor-trailer escaped serious injury after a steel coil rolled over the cab of his truck.

HUBBARD, Ohio - The driver of a tractor-trailer escaped serious injury after a steel coil rolled over the cab of his truck.
The coil rolled from a tractor-trailer and over the cab before striking a trailer being hauled by a pickup truck about a half mile east of Belmont Avenue at 9 am Thursday.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, Leudes Batista, 42, of Marlborough, Massachusetts, was driving a Chevrolet Express cargo van headed westbound when he slowed for traffic.
That's when the tractor-trailer driven by Bryan K. Shaffer, 51, of Salem, Ohio, swerved to avoid him, crashing into the median and losing the 43,500-pound coil.
Although the cab was crushed, no one was seriously injured.
Shaffer was cited for failing to maintain Assured Clear Distance.
Firefighters temporarily closed all westbound lanes, but the road has since reopened.
