YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Junior Group of Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries invited community members to its 26th annual Gems Jewelry Sale & Charity Auction Friday.

The charity event took place at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

The event included a silent auction, jewelry sale, vintage clothing sale, live auction, hors d'oeuvres and more.

All proceeds from the event go toward supporting Goodwill's mission services, which serve the needs of hundreds of people in our community with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Youngstown native, singer and songwriter, J.D. Eicher, performed at the event and BirdFish Brewing Company of Columbiana offered craft beer tastings.
