HERSHEY, Pa. - The Kennedy Catholic Golden Eagles won their fourth straight boys basketball state championship with a 64-62 double-overtime win over Pennridge.

The Eagles won their three previous crowns at Class 1-A but moved up to 6-A, the biggest classification of schools

For the first time, the Eagles trailed at the end of all three quarters, 16-14 end 1, 28-25 at half and 40-38 at the end of the third. The game was tied at 52 at the end of regulation and 57 at the end of the first overtime.

The Golden Eagles last won four straight state championships in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001.
