BOARDMAN, Ohio - Some of our 21 News talent traded in their microphones for grocery bags Monday in Boardman.

Steve Vesey, Caroline Collins and Andrew DiPaolo joined radio personalities from K105 and Y103 at the Giant Eagle on Doral Drive as "celebrity baggers."

It was all to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank and its Harvest for Hunger campaign.

The food bank says while most people think of making donations during the holidays, this time of year is just as important.

"Harvest for Hunger focuses on March and Aprill as our donations tend to taper off this time of year. Right now, the Check Out Hunger Program at Giant Eagle stores in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties has raised more than $55,000 in the last few weeks, which equates to 330 meals and we're only about halfway through," said Becky Miller from the Second Harvest Food Bank.

This Saturday, Lindsay McCoy, Malaynia Spiva and Chris Cerenelli will be showing off their bagging skills for the Harvest For Hunger campaign.
