Route 88 open again in Vernon after rollover crash

VERNON TWP, Ohio - The Trumbull County deputies are investigating an an accident that shut down part of State Route 88 in Vernon Township for more than three hours early Friday.
A car rolled over near Camp Sugarbush coming to rest in the middle of the road at around 2:30 am.
The sixteen-year-old boy who was driving a Chrysler 200 told investigators that he had fallen asleep. The car struck a ditch, went airborne, and rolled over.
The driver wasn't injured.
State Route 88 closed between State Route 7 and Bushnell Campbell Road until after 5:30 am while first responders from the Burghill-Vernon Fire Department waited for crews to clean up fluids that had spilled on the roadway.
