If you're in the mood for a festival this weekend, look no further than courthouse square in downtown Warren.
It's the 35th annual African American Achievers Festival. It's a celebration of African American culture and heritage while promoting love and fellowship.
"Here's an opportunity to come down and to give back to the community. We have a lot of entertainment, games, rides, food, so we want to invite all walks of life to come down and celebrate with us," said Bob Davis, of the Trumbull County African American Achievers Association.
The festival will feature a parade on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Other activities include a Double-Dutch contest, a talent competition and featured musical entertainment at the Warren amphitheater.
